Therapy for Adults & relationships

MIRIAM GREENSPAN

“A healed life is always a work in progress, not a life devoid of all traces of suffering, but a life lived fully, deeply and authentically, compassionately engaged with the world.”

My Approach

My therapy approach is integrative and relational. I draw on various psychological theories and research to understand the issues brought into therapy. I believe in tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs, combining different therapeutic perspectives and your own experiences to uncover the roots of your problems. In our therapeutic relationship, I pay close attention to the emotional quality and encourage you to share your honest experiences and feelings. The relationship itself can provide valuable insights into what is still unspoken or not yet consciously aware.

I prioritize the therapeutic relationship and believe it is crucial for resolution and healing. I also consider how past experiences impact your present. My approach is informed by relational psychoanalytic, and humanistic theories, as well as developmental and neuroscientific research. I am flexible and pragmatic, respecting your needs and preferences. I offer a range of modalities, including psychodynamic, person-centered, trauma-informed, somatic, creative techniques, cognitive behavioral methods (CBT), and mindfulness practice, which can be integrated into our work together.

 How can I support you?

It takes immense strength and self-awareness to recognize the need for support and take the proactive step towards seeking help. Your commitment to your own well-being and growth is truly inspiring!
